My approach to therapy
I believe that meaningful change begins with a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I see you as someone with unique strengths and coping strategies that have developed through your life experiences. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or behaviours, I seek to understand the underlying emotions, needs, and meanings that shape your experiences.
I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. Through this process, I hope to support you in developing greater self-awareness, understanding the patterns that influence your responses, and reconnecting with your strengths and inner resources to build emotional resilience.
I believe that growth occurs through small, intentional steps and opportunities to practise new ways of responding. Together, we will work towards strengthening emotional awareness and regulation, cultivating a kinder relationship with yourself, and developing healthier ways of navigating life's challenges and relationships.
My role as your counsellor is to walk alongside you as you deepen your understanding of yourself, process your experiences, and build the confidence and capacity to create meaningful and sustainable change long after our work together has ended.
